The fall semester of my freshman year is through and I am back home.
Where on earth did the time go? It seems like only yesterday I was driving up to Waco for the first time:
Oh yea. I'm a cutie.
I have learned so much this semester, it's ridiculous. Things like:
-Not judging a book by it's cover. Sometimes the people you think you have the least in common with will turn out to be your best friends.
-I am addicted to coffee.
-The salad bar at the dining halls isn't bad! If you stick to them during the week, you can cheat on the weekends and eat what you like.
-Michael's & Jo-Ann's like to take my money.
-It is indeed possible to not wear a tshirt&shorts to class all semester. I did it :)
-It's okay to be challenged! Especially in your faith. God is bigger than our questions, and He always answers.
& the most important thing I learned this semester is:
God is the ultimate. Nothing else matters outside of Him. Keeping the Lord at the center makes life easier and more fulfilling. Always.
I love my new home. It's changing me for the better, all the time, everyday. I couldn't be more thankful or more blessed to be at this amazing institution filled with the most incredible people I have ever had the joy of knowing.
